Energy Scouts OWL 2016
In the "Energy Scouts OWL" project, trainees get fit in the subject areas of energy and resource efficiency. As energy scouts, they uncover weak points in their companies, develop solutions and gain valuable project experience as a team. In this way, they make an active contribution to climate protection, raise awareness among their colleagues and save money.
The special prize for creativity went to our trainees Sascha Schulz and Shirley Stamm.

They questioned a test procedure in which the most expensive chemical in a test kit was never used up.
In order to maximize resource utilization in the Jokisch quality assurance laboratory, a raw material in an existing chloride determination test was exchanged and replaced with a proprietary blend of this chemical. This optimization has had a far-reaching positive effect in many areas. Resource utilization was optimized, less hazardous material disposal, space savings and of course cost savings were achieved.
